Survey results of National Car Care Month in April 2008 and Fall Car Care Month in October 2008 indicated that 32 percent of vehicles inspected at check-up events had low, overfull, or dirty motor oil. Any of these conditions can cause major engine problems.
Other results of the surveys indicated that 23 percent of windshield washer fluids were low; 23 percent of engine coolant was low or dirty; and 17 percent of transmission, clutch, power steering, and brake fluids were at failing levels. If the fluids are at a failing level it mean the vehicle is at a failing level!
